Difficulty adding node to existing path with double click
-
I'm having trouble at times adding a new node to an existing path using the shape editor tool. I click twice and I get a cursor arrow with a squiggly line underneath. I tried many times to capture it including this video, but the screen capture was not showing it - so I drew it out . whatever setting I must have it on, it does not want me to easily add a node - it took several tries before it let me put on in successfully - sometimes it will add one in the center of the path between the existing buttressing nodes which was not intended.

@Boldline This cursor is shown after the first click on a segment, and it indicates that an interior location along the segment is selected (this selection should be visible after a single click).
I tested the double click here, but it seems to be working fine. I wonder if this is again something related to some settings.
Is the double click done using then tablet stylus?

yes the issue had occured with the stylus and not that I remember with the mouse. Testing it again in build 71, the double clicking is working normally. I'll keep testing and let you know if I run into another issue

Doing double clicks with the stylus is a bit problematic. Is this done with a double tap, or assigned to a stylus button?

@VectorStyler so far is always been a literal double tap, but I will try adding that function to a stylus button and see how that goes. I agree the stylus overall is less precise and using a stylus button might help in multiple ways
