Indicator of when parametric shape edit is flush with original edge
-
could there be an indication of some kind when the end of the parametric shape we are pulling is flush with the outer edge of the original shape? I was thinking of Affinity's way of changing the edge color of a path for example when it turns to yellow when it touches something else...
I would want this to be a warning only - not a stop to the edit because you may want it to exceed the boundaries of the original shape width. Here is an extreme example where the pull down exceeded the original edge
here is an example where I want it to be totally flush with the outer edges, but i'm not 100% sure it's perfect

What is needed is a way for such parametric handles to snap to the "middle" position (the one where the adjacent segments continue smoothly into the round part), AND a highlight/indicator that shows that.
Maybe use the Ctrl key for this snapping?

@Boldline Added this to the backlog, to have snapping.
