The Swatches Palette issues
-
I have two issues:
-
Whenever I select a group of objects to create a New Colour Group, the objects won't adopt their respective colours from the newly created swatches even if I choose the Global Colours option. I am then forced to go through these (individual) objects one at a time in order to apply the colours from the Colour Group. This method becomes really painful when dealing with very detailed artwork.
Wouldn't it be proper to have VS instantaneously apply newly created swatches on to the objects used to create the Colour Group? -
What's the equivalent to Illustrator's Merge Swatches command? I can't seem to find it in the program.

- In the Create Color Group view there should be a "Replace Colors" checkbox (on by default). If this is enabled, the colors in the objects are replaced with the new global colors.
- yes, this is missing, added it to the backlog.
-
@VectorStyler The Replace Colours is selected but the issue still remains.
-
@William-Kansepa Replicated, this is a bug!
-
@William-Kansepa Replace colors when creating Global / Spot palette colors should be fixed in build 1.1.062
EDIT: part two, color merge is also available now.
