Symbol spray brush color variations based on random factor
-
One thing I often miss in symbol spray brushes is a selectable random saturation or lightness or hue value that gives some variation in one of the three aforementioned settings based on the object's original color.
This can help for easy-peasy achieved texture in objects where a lot of spraying around is needed. It requires some manual work, where I do this manually and struggle to make it look random on a... natural way. As an example, let me just mention leaves on a tree or a hedge, where the natural look is achieved through many small variations of these values. The organic look is achieved through such a slight variation in many illustrations.
So a choice option between one of the three and then a value from well... 0-255? That would be enough for me.

@Ingolf Added this to the backlog.

@VectorStyler Thanks
I imagine the same feature could be added to the symbol stamp tool.

Yes. Meanwhile, after painting and expanding the symbols, it is possible to randomly colorize them using the Effects -> Replace Colors -> Colorize
