Second click on node while in pen tool to create a sharp edge?
-
While using the pen tool in VS, does clicking a second time on a node you just made create a cusp from which you can continue the same path? I know I saw people discussing the use of the Alt/Option key. I've always done it by clicking again on the node I just placed to get that corner node.... but when I do it now in VS, it seems to set a new node next to it with a crazy handle
Is this normal?

@Boldline Doesn't happen here — I simply click the last node and it becomes cusp, then I continue drawing the path without it looping over itself.

@b77 hmm maybe it's a mac thing? Sometimes I feel like it's a "me thing" because there are a number of features that seem to work just fine for others, but not at all for me

@Boldline Is it happening with a mouse or trackpad, or with the tablet?

@b77 stylus on a cintiq tablet.

May be related to the tablet. macOS here and I also get cusp nodes:

@Boldline I will try to replicate this, added it to the backlog.

@vectoradmin I sent you an email about how I think this issue and many of the others are related to a conflict in my custom preferences file. Switching to a default one seems to have resolved this issue and a number of others i was running into in build 26.
I also just sent you the workspace file I had been using via email
