Need some advice on pen pressure
-
@Jayanta-Das For the Pencil tools at least, it looks like the stroke width was thin when the painting started.
Try setting the 32 pt first and then paint with the Pencil tool.
-
@vectoradmin I doesn't do anything, I tried setting it to 32pt and paint with pencil.
-
@Jayanta-Das Is the paint at least a solid 32pt width line?
-
@vectoradmin Yes. it paint in 32pt if selected.
-
@Jayanta-Das Then it looks like it is not getting the pressure info from the system.
This is most likely a Windows 11 compatibility issue (have a few of these).
-
@vectoradmin I don't know but I might be wrong, I think pen pressure was working in the previous build.
-
@Jayanta-Das This can be checked: the previous build can be downloaded from https://www.vectorstyler.com/releaselog/ If you scroll down a bit, it was 1.1.008
The link to the previous windows version is: https://www.vectorstyler.com/buildv1_1_008/vectorstyler.msi
You need to manually uninstall the current version.
-
@vectoradmin Ok. I will install previous build, check and let you know by tomorrow.
-
@Jayanta-Das You're not the only one. In my case, pressure recognition also doesn't work. However, I do not need it. I have a Huion Q620m tablet and this problem has been around for a long time, not the current build. The pressure is detected during testing in the driver window as well as in applications such as Affinity photo. However, neither of the suggestions work either. The latest driver is installed.
-
@vectoradmin @encart I was wrong. Pen pressure doesn't work in the previous build also.
-
@Jayanta-Das Then this is still an open bug, it has been reported before.
