Modifier key to key one side cusp and still edit the curve on the other side?
-
I am trying to close this path on the left side (ignore the first pen click) I want to retain the sharp existing side but bend the last section of path I am adding... if I press the control key as I close the loop or the option key, I am unable to move the handles the last section of path - is there not a way to modify only the last active section of a path without disturbing the existing other side?

@Boldline When you click the first node to close the path, first drag the mouse then press the Option key.
This should bend the last segment and leave the first one intact.

@b77 I'm still not getting it to work properly.... Here is my attempt It does allow me to leave the last segment curved and the attaching initial segment straight, but I have no control over editing that curve. I have to go in and edit it after letting go entirely.
On a side note, @vectoradmin, you can see the false starts that occur often at least in the intel version of VS in this video)

@Boldline You’re right, in this particular case the natural thing to do after you closed the path and pressed Option is to drag the Bézier handle directly to bend that last segment.

@Boldline Looks like the shortcut for this is not working. I open a bug on this one.
