      When "save" or "save-as" is prompted, could the wording in the document name area be pre-selected for easy name editing? Here is a video of what I am talking about. I have to go in and click and drag-select the "untitled" section before I can edit the name. Apple does this well when naming new folders and files.
      I would also assume this could be a system-wide improvement to anything that requires replacing filler text?

        I also noticed this problem the other day — I think auto-select worked in past versions and somehow now it doesn't.

        MacBook Pro (Intel) running Monterey 12.6.4

              @vectoradmin I am switching over to an M1 Mac now using Monterey - that is where I'm currently seeing the issue. the restart of VS did not fix it FYI
