Lower opacity of the design while editing clipped objects instead of full hide

In this video example, you can see I'm adjusting the interior clipped vectors and as I do so, the rest of the design disappears entirely while I'm editing. I can understand this is to help me focus on the part being edited, but it's a little too much in my opinion. I'd rather see everything dim to 50% instead of completely hidden at 100% - it's less jolting to the eye and it allows me to still keep the rest of the design in mind as I edit one part.
If we set it to dim 50% or 40%, one could still see the art around them and modify the selected object within the clipping path and modify it in relation to the rest. When that part is hidden completely, it's more guesswork

@vectoradmin Interesting. What is supposed to be occurring, a partial opacity drop or no visible change at all (everything stays 100% opacity)?

This has nothing to do with isolation mode. What happens is that when dragging the selection, the some of the objects are not redrawn.
