Am I too tired... or is difficult to reduce length of rotated, duplicated elements

Just trying to create a simple watch - reducing the lenght of the minutes 1-4, 6-9 etc. etc.
Different behavior for shapes and curves.

@Ingolf Looks like the pivot knob in the Properties panel is not working as supposed to, this will be fixed.
In the Transform panel it should work.Also: when converting to curves, the bounding box and transform pivot are all reset, and will not consider previous rotations.

@Ingolf Can you send me the file from "Movie 1".
I was trying to replicate this, and I noticed that in "Movie 1" the knob in the transform panel is not rotated and the angle is 0 when the rectangle is selected.This is how to works here: https://recordit.co/ggqTbCGpdZ
