Window menu for some programs in Monterey
-
I'm using Monterey on my M1 Mac and noticed with some programs, there's a top menu option called, "window" that gives interesting options like tiling the current program to one side of the screen or another, moving the program view to another monitor, moving it to my ipad even! Is this a menu that can work with VS at some point?

@Boldline I guess this is Apple improving and trying to popularize Sidecar in Monterey, but even if VS doesn't have this menu yet, you can already use your iPad as a tablet for VS:

Hi @Boldline
The official explanation of that menu is described here (in the "Window Menu" section):
Apple macOS Human Interface Guidelines
- Affinity just included it as is (Serif are certainly not the great Apple adopters that they think they are)
- Amadine used it as recommended by Apple
- Adobe adopted the menu in a major way and offer access to all panels from that menu and much more
- Vectorstyler is very similar to Adobe - it is just labelled panel instead
So it would be a question of adding the standard macOS window menu - or adapting the panel menu to reflects its purpose.
