When I delete closed paths, I often have to delete it three times to get all parts of it to be removed.... the first one gets rid of the main path but then the triangle shape remains and it takes a couple more specific deletes of that to remove.
In the linked video I am removing a negative space on the lower right side of the screen - after I get the path selected, it takes three deletes to remove entirely.
is there a better way to accomplish this? Is there a reason for the remnants?

@Boldline It should be a single delete. I tried to replicate (composite shape, with multiple parts), but for me at least it deleted in a single step.
Maybe it has to do with the shape. If there is a small example where it does not delete in a single step, please send it by email. Thanks!
