No size difference between a document with embedded images and one with linked images

Why is there no size difference between a document with embedded images and one with linked images? The document with linked images should be having less megabytes.
-
@William-Kansepa Depends on the image size. With linked images, a low res preview is still stored.
How big is the image? and in what format?
-
In Windows explorer the size is 9.77mb and in Photoshop the actual size is 51.3mb.
When saved in Vectorstyler the size for both embedded and linked documents is 34.8mb
The file format for the image used is jpg.

@William-Kansepa Looks like the jpg image was saved in VS file without compression. I add this issue to the backlog, and will try to improve it.

@vectoradmin Thank you

@William-Kansepa In build 1.0.055, linked image previous are not included anymore in the file, considerably reducing the file size.

@vectoradmin Thank you so much. That was a prompt response to the challenge. Yes, linking vs embedding is now working as expected. The size for the document with linked images is now significantly smaller.
