Trial - Extension?
-
Hi,
I tried VS during the beta stages and found it to be a little too slow and unresponsive to use so haven't purchased a license for v1 - but now that I want to try the latest full release I cannot as my Mac tells me my trial period has expired (understandably) is there a way I can get a new trial for just a day or two - or can I get a refund if I find the program not to be responsive enough?
I'm using a Macbook Pro i9 2.4ghz - with AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB so it should be capable of a responsive workflow no?
Regards
Mark

@mspacemedia Let me find a solution for the trial issue. What was the last version used?
-
Sheesh, I'm not entirely sure - it would have been back in January 2020 when the beta's got mentioned in my current vector app's forum here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/55510-workarounds-for-distortion-warp-or-perspective-distort/page/5/&tab=comments#comment-566832
Goodness knows what beta that was!

@mspacemedia There is a new build planned by the end of this week. I will try to fix this issue by then.
-
That would be great, but more than happy to buy a licence if it makes life easier for you - don't reprogramme your trial test on my behalf - I just needed to see/find out if the app is now more performant, compared to the old beta's…

I can confirm that performance is far better in the latest version of the app - thanks @vectoradmin
Just did a little test on a 1.5m wide banner gradient background… and the responsiveness of the canvas and artboards was great. Brilliant!!
