Liquid shapes - 2D SDF vector graphics

Liquid shapes in 2D SDF vector graphics.
On the Patreon page of Epthracy, the developer of MagicaSCG
and Magicavoxel, there is currently a discussion about whether
he might release a 2D SDF vector app.I think it's an interesting idea, in a discussion post someone
mentioned that Moho, a vector-based animation app has
already implemented this. It's called liquid shapes in Modo. I thought I'd post the video
here to show what possibilities it offers. Epthracy´s Version
would be without animation, but even then i think it would
be useful.Here the Video
Liquid shapes in Moho -
@Subpath Interesting, I added this to the backlog for the future.
One question, can they get back editable Bezier paths from those shapes. -
I also thought it could be an interesting addition to Vectorstyler
.
.... One question: Can you recover editable Bézier paths from these shapes...
Sorry, I don't know. But i would think so, because its a vector graphic.
But i don't have Moho and the 2D SDF vector graphics app is just under
discussion at the Moment.Epthracy is developing MagicaCSG, a 3D app based on SDF modeling.
For this he has also developed various 2D vector graphics tools and
asked his supporters on Patreon what they think about a release.
A large number are in favor, as am I.When I have more information at some point, I will let you know.

If you remember, you once asked me what
an object created this way would look like when exported.I've had a chance to try it out in the meantime; such a result
can be exported as an .SVG file, though it contains a large number of nodes. So the VS simplify feature was a great help.

I would so much like to have a tool like this on vectorstyler; it's the principle of METABALLS (see it on blender) with attractions constraints between spheres that can be more or less deform from at certain distance from the other objects, with more or less strong tensions when objects meets.

Did you notice that Vectorstyler added this already for the Future ?

I know Metaballs, as i know 3D modeling too. But it seems Metaball
is replaced and out performed with the arise of SDF-modeling. I am
a patreon of MagicaCSG a little SDF-Modeler.Here a Thread of mine about SDF.

@ZATOPEK Hi,
Maybe this could be useful.
I made a short video showing a simple way to create a metaball-like effect in VectorStyler.
The method uses a combined path with two live offsets: first a positive offset, then a negative offset. This creates a smooth connection between the shapes while keeping the result editable.
