Just for Inspiration, an astonish Picture, which contains also many Intwertwine Symbols

I found a astonish piece which contains also many Intertwine Symbols
made with "IOrnament and "Procreate" both are apps for the iPad.The Piece is made by Seb Lester a Calligrapher.
He work 6 Months on this. The outer parts are made in "Procreate"
and the inner parts are made with "iOrnament"Found it while browsing the web about some Infos of "iOrnament"
a App i have on my iPad, which offers many different symmetries
to create all kind of patterns. Here the Link

@Subpath Thanks for posting about this Subpath! I recently watched a very interesting talk from the creator of iOrnament (on the math used in and out of iOrnament) and it was very entertaining (especially how he got requests from users to increase resolution). This piece from Seb was also discussed. You may like the talk too.

@syllie , glady
I know this talk.
It's funny, this very talk is what first drew my attention to Seb Lester's
work. After watching the video, I searched online for a better
version and found the one I've linked here."IOrnament" is a very interesting app for creating patterns, which
unfortunately is only available for the iPad. I like that you can
seamlessly switch between different symmetries with the same
drawing, and thus see how it looks in different symmetries.

@Subpath I am really into patterns and how they are made. I try and test almost all pattern making tools and programs - and iOrnament is in that toolset. As you mention, its strongest feature is the non-destructive switching between symmetries. I also like how you can switch on/off repetitions to manipulate selective parts of a pattern, as well as move the pivot point at will and create overlaps / fillers that way. And of course how you can see the whole pattern in repeat, and export the exact repeating tile. The brushes look a bit garish - and they have their purpose (I made a batik style pattern using the metallic brushes, but I would never use those for one of my surface pattern design, which are generally in flat colours).
Other programs that I use on ipad that can directly show tiled repeats and export pattern tiles: amaziograph, patterndraw, infinite painter, paintstorm pro, fresco/capture. Most of these are rasters, but they allow free exploration of designs and symmetries, and where needed I turn them into vector designs.

From your previous posts, I remember that you're interested in pattern making.
I do that too, but just for fun and fun of experimenting. Not at a pro level.I'm also familiar with Amaziograph and Paintstorm Pro.
I have both on my iPad.

Another very interesting app, on iPad, for pattern exploration.
Photo and Video live recordings is "Nception".

On a PC, I can highly recommend taking a look at "Black Ink" (PC only).
Its node-layer concept allows to create very individual symmetries.
