Set style before drawing
-
Hi,
once a new style is set, I only can apply it to a selected object. Isn't it supposed to work also before starting to draw?
Say I create two line styles, one red and one green. I would like to choose the desired style before starting to draw, like I would do in real life with pencils. But this seems not to work.
Thanks

When you choose a color for the next shape to draw, the previous shape should be deselected (esckey).
here is how it works: https://share.cleanshot.com/Rw381STC

I meant working with the "Style" panel (please see picture).
If you pick any of the styles created, this will not work.
Plus, even if you try to assign the style on a new line after it is drawn, all its attributes are set to zero (no width, no outline color and no fill color).

This part I could not replicate.
The others (linked style as default) are indeed the case, I will try to find a solution.

It would help me to replicate this, if you send me a file containing that style, where the style cannot be applied on an already drawn shape.

Of course. I attached here the file
Thank you

@Fertuffo This is what I get: https://share.cleanshot.com/zQgCkmjv

@VectorStyler I think I've found the bug. It resets to zero when you apply a style that is already set.
For instance, if you set "Green style" to the green line.

@Fertuffo I mean, draw a line and try adding a new "Blue style". Then apply the "Blue style" to the same line and it turns non-value.
I know its a quite nonsense-case, but this happened to me

This can be replicated, and it is a bug. Will be fixed ASAP.
