When editing a node, the selection of the father fails, and the result is deselection.
-
Well, I have lost count of the number of times I have been
amazed at the pace of your updates. Just impressive as always.

Can you show me how to replicate this? If I edit an object clipped into an other object, the "Select Parent" will select the parent, but of course the clipped object is not selected anymore.
This is by design (move selection up in the hierarchy).

... Is this developer on steroids or something? ...
indeed he isI wondered often how something like this is possible.
Especially when you consider how long other graphic program developers
need for less than half fixes and VectorStyler is one developer.I think he knows his stuff inside and out.
Which is also reflected in the program’s wide range of features.

The father of the node is this path, and the father of the path is the group (or compound path) together with the circle. Then, it increases level by level in turn until the final level of this object is reached. Only such logic is reasonable.
-
@VectorStyler Thank you very much for the node snapping! You are the best. Would it also possible to have an option/or enable this when using the node tool?

I can add an option for this, it was actually disabled because it did not look very good.

I think this is what happens in VS also.

@VectorStyler But this operates with different effects. The father of the node is not the path. It has been cancelled. It needs to be verified on your side.
