Should modifier key option to size stroke in pencil.brush tool be added to Pen tool?

I really like the quick way to adjust stroke size with the option tool and drag when it comes to the pencil and brush tools.
Should this option also be added to the pen tool?

@Boldline The problem here is the lack of modifier keys for this feature. The Pen tool already uses all modifier keys.
