I noticed in the new build that when I am using the brush tool or eraser tool, it defaults to "pressure". If I change the setting to another such as "none" and then eventually switch back to the opposite tool (from eraser back to path brush or vice versa) it defaults back to "pressure" again. This also occurs if I use eraser/path brush and then switch away to another tool and come back to either, the setting returns back to "pressure".
There are plenty of times I love using the other settings for this, but personally, I prefer it be set to "none" by default, but even if it is set by default to "pressure", could it remain sticky and retain the last setting?

@Boldline I could not replicate this here. When switching tools, the Pressure mode stayed the same.

@VectorStyler there must be something about the settings on my M1 laptop because the issue persists there but on the desktop machine it does not have this issue.

what would you need from me to send to you from the laptop to see what might be causing the issue there?

          thanks

@Boldline I have thus bug still open, as I could not replicate it.

Send me the content of the /resources/ folder, It might be something to do with the settings file.

BTW: there is a bug in the current version, with the Restore Default of the settings file, so avoid using that, or if you used it then you need to remove the settings.xml file.
