Transform (rotate) in Text Editor reference point
-
- Checking the 'Transform in Text Editor' ON setting. Reference point (center of rotation) for rotation is very, very far away. Shouldn't that be the center of the object?
- Switching tools makes text uneditable. Need to put 'linked contend' in Transform Tool again.

@Ayo I could not replicate either of these points with a simple test. Send me a file where this occurs.

@VectorStyler
Think I found it!
Transform takes place outside the artboard.
Should that be a problem? Often work this way to prepare semi-finished products that ultimately find their final place on the arboard in the drawing/layout.

This should not be a problem.
I got the file and tested it, and indeed there is some issue. There is a lot of "empty" text inside that frame with formatting.
How was the text in that frame created?

Good to hear.
Created by just dragging a text rectangle and copy/paste from webpage into frame. When I turn on invisible characters I only see 7 blank lines/paragraphs.
Had some trouble gaining access and had to mess around with Linked Content several times to get the cursor happily blinking again.

There might be something here. I have to replicate this.
