Shape Builder keeps crashing

I believe you should've received 2 crash reports about this. However, this is very difficult to repro. I started screen recording multiple times. Finally this one succeeded.
Sorry, it's about 11 minutes long and I can't provide any steps because there's really not much to provide. Generally, I suspect, it has to do something with tolerances, small gaps, repeated undo/redo steps, etc.
I cut out the very end where the crash report comes up (because my screen contents are secret), but where the movie ends, right then the crash happened. The crash happens all the time it's just a matter of question how long you have to play around with it to make it happen. Sorry, it's prolly not that useful. I don't have the document saved either.
Also, it's not visible in the recording but the beachball cursor was keep coming up a few times and in those cases the screen just freezes so no action is happening.
I do a lot of undos, trying to connect small areas, sometimes even big areas are not connecting, and generally I'm just trying to crash it.

@pentool Can you send me the file that was used to crash the shape builder tool.
I'm trying to replicate this.I got the crash reports, but it is not clear what could cause this issue.

Unfortunately, I can't because the file was never saved. It was just a new document. I will try to recreate it while keep saving its.
I do a lot of shape building where only lines are touching closed shapes (eg you snap lines to circles and other shapes with circular edges. Then, as you can see sometimes it take to mess around with the tool 11+ minutes until it comes to the point when it crashes.

@pentool You mentioned using undo/redo in the shape builder when it crashes
One thing to try is to disable the "Remember Shapes" option in the shape builder tool options.

@VectorStyler Yes I had it disabled as you can see it in the movie. Also had it disabled in the email I sent with a new crash.

Well, last time I did you said they are not much help because it's difficult to pinpoint the issue.
The problem with the Shape Builder crash is that it's not an "obvious" bug. You have to keep working at it. As you see form the videos it usually involves shapes and lines. Lines, which are not closed shapes. And lines are snapping to shapes which can create small gaps that are finicky to fill/select.
And as you keep working at it, something "accumulates" in the back of things and eventually it results in a crash. So it's quite difficult to repro.
Also, even if I keep saving the file as I work along, the last steps (which might have caused the crash) wont be saved at the moment of the crash. So you might end up with missing (possibly critical) info.

Yes it is difficult, but still the next best thing if cannot replicate it
