Fonts activated in FontBase doesn't work in VectorStyler
-
Seems like VS doesn't support FontBase - shows only 1 font from entire family activated in FontBase.
There are no problems in Affinity Designer, Word etc. - Recordit

@Harry I had not heard of Fontbase - just checked it out and it looks interesting. I use a font manager called "Typeface". I've also gotten into creating font groups within VS and using those for my most common types of fonts but I digress.
I tried the "inter" font in my own font manager, "Typeface" and they all displayed correctly as options in VS.
Did you try other fonts as well to be sure it was an issue with Fontbase and VS or just a specific font?

@Harry Is see that this is on Windows.
There is an open VectorStyler bug on 3rd party font manager support on Windows.
For now, use the VectorStyler internal font manager to add fonts to VS that are not installed in the syste,

@Boldline Typeface is only for Mac
After checking some other fonts, It seems that Inter is the only problem so far (Inter Tight is ok).
@VectorStyler Thanks - that worked!

@Harry Returning to this (from the backlog).
I installed the latest FontBase on Windows, and at least here (Windows 10) it works with font families also (latest version of VS).
Let me know if there are still issues with external font managers on Windows.

@VectorStyler I uploaded several hundred additional fonts to fontbase in addition to google fonts. I'm still testing. I'll be reporting when I find any problems.
So far I have troubles only with the Google's "Inter" font family and only in VS. Maybe you can check it?

Will do so.

@Harry Yes, there are problems with detecting all variants of the fixed "Inter" fonts.
The next build will solve this.BTW: the Inter font is a variable font, and FontBase installs only the fixed variations.
If the actual variable font is downloaded and added using the VS internal font manager, then it works.

@VectorStyler This issue should be fixed in build 1.1.080
