No smoothness in the path sketch tool

Hello vector-friends,
since some weeks i think, there is no more smoothness adjustment possible in the path sketch tool.
In the pencil or the brush tool however, i can adjust the amount of smoothness - in the path sketch tool i can see no difference
between 0 or 32.
Is the mistake behind the keyboard or could there be a bug in VS?VS-Version 1.1.038 - iMac Late 2017, i7, 32 GB - Mojave 10.14.6

It seems that I should read posts more carefully.
Have used the pencil tool instead of the path sketch tool.Tried using the path sketch tool now and it seems to be no change.
No matter what value I choose for smoothing.

@Wurstkäs Replicated here. Seems that the smothness editing does not register for the path sketch tool.
Will get fixed ASAP.
