Regression when increasing or decreasing stroke width

There is a noticeable lag when increasing/decreasing stroke width using the bracket method (long press).
In the earlier versions of VS 1.3 the transformation would happen in real-time. -

I will try to improve this
This is happening whenever I attempt to make a stroke wider or thinner. Even if you refresh, there's no difference.

Can you make a recording of what happens when you change the stroke width using the shortcuts -

Please note that the lag takes place when you long press the bracket keys.
