At times VS fails to properly convert some fonts to curves when placing linked Pdf files into an existing document. It is in light of this challenge that I am requesting for the implementation of a complete Passthrough Mode when linking Pdf files such that the missing fonts issue gets eliminated?

@William-Kansepa Please send (by email) some PDF files where these issues occur.

Converting text to curves at PDF import should always work as in this case the embedded font from the PDF file is used.

The problem occurs when trying to import it as a text, as not all PDF text can be converted back into editable form.
