When drawing in Mirror Group mode, using an image as reference and I try to edit nodes, the reference image momentarily fades to almost white and I can hardly see anything. This puts a heavy strain on my eyes. Is there a setting that I am missing that might help in controlling the amount of fade?

@William-Kansepa Yes: View -> Display -> Display Options -> Colors tab.

Set the Isolation Opacity to a smaller value (maybe 20%).

it is also possible to select objects inside mirror groups, without isolating, by using the "Deep Selector" tool (grouped with the pointer tool)

Perfect. @VectorStyler, Thank you so much! Tried it out and it's now working as desired.
