Nah, the page just correctly reverts to a available font in the font family list:
I still get the error in any browser. For the fun of it I checked on macOS and Windows. Same error.
The request itself seems to be valid. I checked the Google Dev Tools Network tab, and the Request Headers showed a valid URL format for fonts.googleapis.com.
