Blending mode in layer settings / how is this in VS?
-
I want to have the red square to multiply blend or darken the shape below, but cannot figure out how it works. In other drawing programmes you set blending mode in layer settings, but how do I make this in VS?

-
@Raaskot That panel sets the blending mode for Image Effects.
Use the Transparency panel to set object blending mode

@VectorStyler Got it, thanks.

Is it possible to adjust the transparency and blending of layers in the Layers panel, as is done in other programs?

Not as in Affinity, more like Illustrator. Select the Layer (round knob after the layer name) and then select all transparency options in the Transparency panel.

@VectorStyler When adjusting the Transparency and Blending settings in the Object Options window and with Preview enabled, no changes appear on the canvas, and I have to toggle this setting on and off again to see the changes. This behavior may be intended, which is why I asked about transparency and blending settings in the Layers panel. If not, it's a bug. Everything works fine in the Transparency panel.

@MrDixioner I will try fix the previewing issue.
But the Transparency panel should also work with the layer selected.
