Node Switching with keyboard Y/U works fine, L needs 2 presses?
-
I'm on windows and just tinkering a bit with the latest release, following along a tutorial for beginners (AI). I noticed that swapping between node types with the keyboard works immediately for Y and U, but not when I try to make a selected node cusp (L). It requires 2 key presses. Is this by design?

@syllie Yes, it is by design:
- the first press changes the node "type" to cusp, but the positions of the handles remain (so there is no visual change).
- the second press (now the node type is cusp), retracts the handles.
You can test this: after the first press, move the control points to see if the node type is now cusp.

@VectorStyler Thanks for the explanation. I can see why that could come in handy.

retracts the handle
Why does retract the handle (L) not work for the starting node?

Seems to be a bug.
