License verification failed

I purchased a license but can’t verify my code. I get a 'License verification failed' message, saying it can’t connect to the server. I am definitely connected!
I also tried to use VPN, to bypass my current regional restrictions, but it didn’t help. What else can I try?

Strangely the app is unlocked though, I can now create and save document, suing the full range of tools and functions... But I can’t check if it’s registered or not — Help menu has both Register and Remove License commands active (and I'm afraid to try to revoke now).

@Egor-Chistyakov Please check the license email, and use the "user name" exactly as it is in the email "user name" line.

Is there a trial notification when starting the app? If not, it is unlocked.

FWIW, I had the same error when I registered just now on a separate machine and it claimed server couldn't be connected. I hit Retry and heard nothing back, saw it had the "Remove License" option in the Help menu... on restart, no nag screen, so I guess it is registered...
