A non-urgent detail: Improving the color panel (merging Color & Variations panels) ?

I like working with panels in general and I'd find it very interesting in the workflow to improve the colour panel by merging panels into one, with the variations shown at the bottom of the panel for example. Would it also be possible to have the colour panel show the last colours used ( already requested as a feature & maybe implemented but can't find it if it is). Thanks

There is a feature in the 1.3 backlog, where the color panel could (optionally) show several recent colors.
with the variations shown at the bottom of the panel for example
This would be from the variations panel? Would this make the color panel a bit too complex in terms of use?

Well, it depends on what will be implemented in the future but for the moment I can see the variations on the same panel with an option to view them. When I'm working with a large screen, it's not a problem to superimpose the two panels one on top of the other and visualise them, but on a laptop, the space available is reduced and one always has to make compromises. -

No commitment, and not this year
Focus is on fixing bugs, and doing something about the site and lack of tutorial videos. -
