VS does not currently update live text font when grouped when missing font is activated externally

I opened a file I made the other day that had a design that consisted in part of live text. The font I used at that time was not currently activated in my independent font manager app. I opened the file skipping over the option to activate the fonts prior. I activated the font later on and it did not update the missing font in VS. I had two separate lines of live text grouped together and it would not update them to the correct font until after I ungrouped them first.
Basically - is it possible to have VS update missing fonts despite it being grouped? -

Grouping should not affect this. I will try to replicate this issue, it could be a regression.
