      A small thing, but I think it is better to give the color for the first layer for the initial start-up and new document a real color. So that the concept 'color' becomes visual and does not blend with the outline. Better distinguished and no blending frames and nodes with initial black colored lines and/or text. Better visibility and explains the general idea better for newbies. Take your corporate color for example.

        @Ayo Would be easy to add, but I think all other apps have the default to black, so that might be the expectation.

          Not true, my cs6ai gives a blue coincidentally. And on the other hand you argue: 'VS is different'.👆
