About AI

AI format is also a mainstream format, but the software does not currently support it and requires the use of other software for conversion.May I ask when it will be possible to support the output in AI format?

@monsterfox VectorStyler supports Adobe Illustrator (AI) file format opening and import in its native form. This means that all the brushes, patterns, and other high level attributes remain editable in VectorStyler when an AI file is opened.
But exporting (or saving) is an other story (and currently not supported). The main problem is the AI file format itself. Typically it contains at least two versions of the same graphics, and three if live shapes are used.
It would be quite difficult to implement an AI file saving, that would be any better than a regular PDF or Postscript file export.

Okay, it seems like something that can't be achieved in a short time.

@VectorStyler
In fact, the most common use of exporting AI format is for software that supports terminal devices. As long as it supports exporting AI format in lower versions, similar to CorelDraw, it would suffice. I have over a dozen devices that only require basic lines and minimal colors in AI format. Lower versions of AI format can cover the majority of practical application scenarios. This eliminates the need for additional software to convert the format again, making it much more convenient.
