Using templates?

 I create a document, set up the guidelines, and use the "Mark as Template" option from the File menu. Then I save the empty document in a new folder called "templates". When I now want to create a new document with "New from Template", I see my "templates" folder with the template document I chose. After I have edited my document and want to save it with "Safe As", I get the "templates" folder as the save location selected again and have to change the save location manually. Why is the templates folder displayed?

 The last destination ist displayed. If the document is saved to a folder "my documents" next time using "New from Template" isn't showing the "templates folder" to chose a template but the last used folder "my documents".
