Setting ruler unit divisions

I have set my rulers to inches and the grid to 8 divisions so I can now snap to 1/8 inch increments. But I haven’t found a way to configure the rulers with divisions of 1/8th of an inch.
Is this possible?

@ChrisP Set the ruler units to inches in the Document Setup -> General -> Ruler field.
The ruler division is done automatically based on the zoom level, it is not possible to configure it to a fixed division. -

@ChrisP I think for the inch unit, the automatic subdivision should use 1/8 instead of 1/10.
I will change this.
