As you know, the "Browse and use Google fonts" feature is in Phase 4 of the VS road map:

As a temporary workaround, I suggest using Fontbase, free font management software, to download all the Google fonts at once:

      1. Download and install Fontbase (by the way, a pretty good app!):
        https://fontba.se

      2. In Fontbase click on Providers/Google

      3. Make some tea/coffee/push ups as it may take some time to download all the fonts (currently there are over 5000 fonts and over 2 GB of data)

      4. Go to C:/Users/User Name/Fontbase/Providers

      5. Copy folder "Google" with all downloaded fonts to your favorite location

      6. In VS go to Text/Font Manager and add Google font folder

      7. Browse and use Google fonts in VS!

      8. As an option, you can uninstall Fontbase or give it a try!

P.S. FontBase supports Mac, Windows and Linux

Win 11, XP Pen Deco 01 V2 graphic tablet
