Should opacity be set with keyboard number keys while node editing tool is active?
-
I wanted to throw this idea out there to see what others thought. Should the opacity of a selected object be set with keyboard number keys while the node editing tool is active? There are a number of times I go to change the opacity using the 0-9 keys and nothing happens because I have the node editing tool active and need to first switch to the transform tool to get that shortcut to work. I've done that often enough that it made me wonder if this was a better option.
Not that Affinity to the end all-be all, but out of curiosity, I went over and tested it there and both of their respective selection tools allow for the opacity shortcut to work.
I'd be in favor of doing this in VS so long as there was not a long term goal to use the number keys in correlation with the node editing tool in the future. If something were to be done with that, I'd say leave it with the transform tool only for opacity quick edits.
Anyone have any thoughts?

nothing against that from me
like your ideaWould transpareny change then in steps of 10 ?
e.g. 10, 20, 30...

@Boldline OK, but when in node editing mode (shortcut: A) the 1, 2 and 3 keys are reserved for changing the selected segment(s) to line, quadratic or cubic.

@b77 This was why I was just throwing the overall idea out and admitting there could be something using those keys that would be more beneficial as tied to the node editing tool.I have not used those shortcuts, I'll have to see how they work
