Child shape alters the parent shape when both have the Shape Effect added

Even moving a child shape without an effect added seems to change the parent one.
Is that intentional? -
@plrang Is the "Clipped Effect Frame" enabled for the group? If not, the changed frame of the child shape will adjust the area where the effect is applied.
Remember that by default effects consider both the total frame of the child objects and the clipping frame. -
@VectorStyler Well, I think you are right. I didn't connect the dots! My bad. Some of those hidden options really need icons.
