How do I scale up or down the overall design if it includes live text on a path components?

I want to scale down the entire design and potentially grab just the outer ring of live text and shrink it in some, but each time I do, the text itself goes wonky Video here. Is there a setting I am missing? thanks

@Boldline After selecting the whole thing, group it.
When scaling separately, the path is scaled and then the text is aligned to the new path.
