Panels aesthetics when switching between nested panels

Focusing purely on aesthetics here, is there a way to avoid the way the overall grouped set of panels changes sizing when switching between panels that are nested together? In this video you can see for example, as I switch between the history panel and the info panel, it jolts the entire overall panel some. Obviously it's not hurting the overall usability but it takes away from the UX some and makes VS feel a little clunky.

@Boldline I tried to find a solution for this one. For now panels will try to restore their original size when activated. This will cause other panels to shift.
Some panels have a fixed height, so resizing will happen anyway.Any ideas / suggestions are welcome.

@vectoradmin I was thinking more about this as I had a good example in front of me today,
To my untrained developer mind - I don't see why the widths of these three could not all take their cue from the top most panel - the widest existing panel, or that all stacked panels could not assume the minimum width of the widest panel

@Boldline How I understand this is that the width should not change when swapping between panels.
I think this is doable.

That was indeed what I was suggesting. It's not a major deal but I think it helps VS feel more smooth and less "clunky" aesthetically
