      New to VS, Need some help. When I move the cursor there is no indicator in ruler as shown in the screenshot. How to enable this? Thanks.

        @Jayanta-Das Welcome to VS.

        Preferences -> Performance -> Show Position in Ruler (left / bottom checkbox).

        (in preferences there is a search box in the left / bottom corner of the view that can be used to search for things).
