Creating 3D shapes easily

I've shared on this topic before and I know it's not happening until we hit VS 2.0, but still going to pass along ideas for it as they are on my mind as I worked on projects like this. This 3D feature may relate to the quick 3D "superman title style" word look. Pulling out a shape to make a quick 3D shape with perfect angles based on where that shape gets dragged to to create the other edge
