Symbol Tinting Brush only works one time
-
The new Symbol Tinting Brush works really well, for one stroke.
After that, I can no longer apply another stroke to the same object, nor can I select it on the canvas using the mouse. I need to Undo twice to be able to select the symbol set group on the canvas again (rather than using the Layers panel), and after doing so the stroke is gone, but I can make another one (with the same loss of functionality after that).
I am on macOS 10.14.6, version 1.1.000 (beta)
EDIT: still seeing this on version 1.1.001

@fde101 There are some issues with the selection (only box marquee including all symbols works).
Applying another stroke is not possible, on a symbol set, it has to be expanded first.

@fde101 This problem should be fixed now.

Somehow I am skeptical of this as intended behavior: if I create a symbol (in this case I just used a simple star shape) and clear the canvas, then use the Symbol Spray Brush to apply a bunch of them in a row, then when I try to apply the Symbol Tinting Brush to a few of them, the entire set of symbols on the canvas is replaced with just one that winds up in a completely different position from any of them, which is colored as intended.
If I create them with the Symbol Stamp Tool instead, or using the add to document button on the Symbols panel,[0_1647854199948_Screen Recording 2022-03-21 at 5.09.48 AM.mov](Uploading 22%) they stay where they are, but the color is not applied.
This is with 1.1.024, on macOS 10.14.6.

@fde101 I will try to replicate this.
