Align to selection does not seem to be working as it should

I was trying to select all the applicable bottom nodes of two letters so I could align them with each other perfectly. Using the align panel set to object, then choosing the align at bottom moves some nodes much lower. I was expecting all the selected nodes to be aligned with each other. Is there a setting I am missing?

@Boldline This is a bug, and it can be replicated. Will be fixed ASAP.
EDIT: workaround: use a guideline to align the nodes.

@Boldline Aligning selected nodes with the Alignment panel should work now.
