Hello! I'm totally new to VectorStyler so bear with me for this surely simple question:

      • I draw two or more rectangles or any other shapes.
      • Deselect them.
      • Use the Transform tool to select just one of them but then all objects in the layer are selected, not just the one I want to edit.

Is there any preference/option to change this? I tried to find anything in the help but found nothing related to it, VectorStyler has sooo many options maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
      Thanks in advance!

@ideagonal From your description it sounds like the Magic Wand selection mode is enabled in the toolbox on the left (the fourth icon).
Switch to Box Selection and it should be back to normal selection mode.

MacBook Pro (Intel) running Monterey 12.6.4

@ideagonal Can you send a screenshot, or maybe a short recording with record.it It would help a lot in identifying the issue.

@b77 said in Transform tool selects all objects in layer:

This is it. I didn't realise that button were options for the Transform Tool, thought they were additional selection tools by itself.
            Thank you!

As usual, I need to take the time to throughly read the help of a new software and not make assumptions based on similar software. This above issue is covered in the help:
