I turned on the grid settings for my document. One of the things I adjusted was the opacity of the grid. The next document I created, the grid was automatically there and back at full opacity.
In some ways I like that the grid returns on future documents, other times I think it should be an option to add each time or if it is going to auto-appear it can be done so by set it as a template or option.
The question I had, going back to grid opacity, is why does it revert to full opacity for a new document, but the other settings are retained? Could opacity be added to information retained for a new document?

@Boldline I will try to fix this. It is not a bug, but the consequence of how grids / guidelines are working.

The default document grid is inherited by future documents, but when the opacity is changed, the change affects the current canvas only, which is not inherited.
