Option to merge two separate live text objects into one single editable (live) text object

I had several live text independent segments I wanted to combine together. We have an awesome option to "split text", what about the opposite task - to combine text? Could we add a feature that lets you merge two separate live text objects into one single editable (live) text object ?

@Boldline This is doable, but the problem is that it might modify the text position / layout.

@VectorStyler I think that would be ok though. maybe the first live text box selected is the one that all other selected live text boxes use as reference for size and position?

Had a need for this feature pop up again today. IS this something we could get in 1.4 or soon after? I would think the rule could be that the first text selected sets the location for the rest of the text that gets merged together

Corel draw have such a feature
But it doesnt have the awesome split Feature
