Pick colour for gradient stop

With a gradient stop selected: I remember I asked for and got the option to press what must have been Option + click on an image (for example) to pick up that colour for the selected gradient stop, but I can’t get it to work now, or find any way to assign a key combo for it?

And for newcomers: no, I’m not looking for Style Pickers or anything like that for occasional colour picking - this was about being able to pick colours for lots of gradient stops in a short amount of time.

@Ingolf The color can be picked by selecting a gradient color knob, then clicking in the Color panel the color picker icon knob and then clicking on a location for the color
